Do you collect things? The strange, the discarded, the old? have you ever wondered how you could use these wonderful items in your artwork? Do you dream of moving beyond the flat canvas and into the third dimension?
Join me in “Of Spent and Aged Things: Reclaiming the Abandoned.” you will learn to use epoxy clay, texture, textiles and paint to meld numerous disparate found objects into one unique, darkly whimsical work of art: your own nature inspired cage doll.
I will take you on a mixed media assemblage journey, guiding you step by step through the process – from finding found objects to demonstrating tools and construction methods, to texturing and painting techniques.
